Purposes

To handle your order and the resulting contract, including invoicing, shipping and after-sales service.
To answer your enquiries and your requests concerning technical information, warranty and returns.
To manage your customer account, if you choose to create one.
To send you commercial communications about products and offers, only if you have consented; you may withdraw that consent at any time without this affecting your order.
To comply with the legal obligations that apply to us, in particular tax and accounting obligations, and to prevent payment fraud.

Data we process

Identification and contact details, billing and delivery address, the data needed to take payment, order history and communications with our customer service. We do not process special categories of data. We do not take automated decisions that significantly affect you, nor do we carry out profiling with legal effects.

If you give us a third party's data, for example for delivery to another person, you confirm that you have their consent and undertake to inform them of the content of this policy.

Legal basis

Performance of the contract: to process, ship and invoice your order and to handle warranty and returns.
Consent: for commercial communications and for cookies that are not strictly necessary.
Legal obligation: for invoicing and for keeping accounting and tax records.
Legitimate interest: to prevent fraud and to keep the shop secure.

Recipients

Your data is disclosed only to those who need it so that your order arrives and is paid for:

the carriers responsible for delivery, which receive your name, address and contact telephone number;
payment service providers and financial institutions, in order to take payment;
providers of technical services to us (hosting, shop platform, email and customer service tools), which act as processors under a written agreement;
public authorities where there is a legal obligation.

We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for their own purposes. No transfers outside the European Economic Area are envisaged; should any become necessary, they would be made with the safeguards required by data protection law.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as our relationship with you lasts and, thereafter, blocked for the applicable statutory limitation periods, in particular tax and accounting periods and those for claims arising from the contract. Data processed on the basis of your consent is kept until you withdraw it.

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss, unauthorised access to and alteration of data: encryption of communications over HTTPS, access controls and backups. Card payments are processed on the bank's gateway and we do not store your full card number.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, you may object to processing and exercise your right to data portability, and you may withdraw at any time any consent you have given us. Simply write to info@bateriaprofesional.es saying which right you wish to exercise; we may ask you to prove your identity.

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority, which is the authority of your country of habitual residence, of your place of work or of the place of the alleged infringement.

Cookies

This shop uses technical cookies, which are necessary for the basket and the session to work, and analytics and personalisation cookies, which are only set if you consent through the panel shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from the same panel, and delete cookies from your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy to reflect changes in the law or new processing activities. The version published on this page is the one in force at any given time; if a change affects you significantly, we will tell you.

Customer reviews

After your purchase we may send you an email asking for your opinion on the product and on the purchase, on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving our service; you may object at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email. The opinions you send us may be published on the website with your first name and the initial of your surname. We may also invite you to leave a review on third-party platforms (Trustpilot, Google), which are governed by their own privacy policies, and associate those reviews with your order for quality-control purposes. We publish all reviews from verified purchases, both positive and negative, sorted by date; we only remove those containing personal data, insults or content unrelated to the product or the purchase.
